1975 - 1979
Employed by Europa Film (later Sonet Studios and now Europa Studios) which at the time was the largest independent facility house in the country with film-studios, music-recording-studios and over 80 cinemas all over the country. The first year I was educated in picture, film, TV, and sound techniques by the company and worked with video duplication. Then as a VT operator and editor on Ampex 2" but also on early 1 " machines (JVC etc) and U-Matics. Rank Scanner operator 16mm and 35mm.
1979 - 1984
Editor and technical operations manager at Nord Artel (later Nord Art Forsgren Prod.) in Stockholm, an independent facility house. I supervised the work in the 3 camera studio and edited on different formats like U-Matic, 1"B and 1"C, High-band U-Matic, Beta and Betacam SP. The work also included EFP and ENG work around the country as a Technician or as a Sound Recordist. We produced educational and information programmes for different companies, Corporate Videos and Music Videos in the early 1980's when they started to be popular.

of editing systems. Teaching new editors their systems around Europe (Turkey, Iceland, UK, Germany, Finland and Scandinavia). Also as a Guest editor during the exhibitions in Montreux and Brighton (IBC) for about 5 years.
Teaching TV-production at a Film and TV school (TBV) in Stockholm for a year.
Producing Corporate Videos, Information Programmes and Music programmes.

1988 - 1994
Freelance work for TV3 Broadcasting Group Ltd (formerly Scansat):
Mainly for their Sports Department, ENG-camera and editing. Editing on site during 5 Ice Hockey World Championships between 1989 and 1993. 5 years editing at the Wimbledon Tennis. Also shooting features before these events on Betacam SP.
For about 2 years as a one-man crew shooting features and interviews all around England for TV3 when they did the English Premier League. ENG-camera, editing and live rink- camera during Canada Cup Ice Hockey 1991. ENG- camera US-Open, tennis 1991.

1994 - 1998
Employed by TV3 Broadcasting Group Ltd as Technical Director/ Camera Director; Directing the technical work (as a camera director) in the control room at the station, or in OB's on site, often outside the UK. Responsible for the On-Air look in the different Sports Programmes; Titles - Graphics - Studio Design-Lighting etc. Also producing Title-Sequences, Billboards and Programme graphics for various sport programmes.
Studio Productions/Camera Directing:Ice hockey World Championship 1994 - 1998; Canazei and Milan, Stockholm, Vienna, Helsinki and Zürich. These live transmissions where produced using a 4 camera studio on site and 2-3 extra cameras for commentators and rink interviews, a number of VTR'S, 2-3 channel live DVE's and Astons etc. A total of c340 hours live transmissions.
Also Ice Hockey World Cup in Canada and USA 1996.
Italian Football and Champions League studio productions with presenters in London and commentators on site for 4 years, a total of c320 hours live transmissions. I often produced Web Pages in connection with the Italian matches and published comments from viewers who could e-mail us live during the transmission every Sunday.

Work as ENG Cameraman: football events around England; feature filming before Champions League and Euro-96, many away matches for the Scandinavian national teams. About 8 weeks in Italy in total to follow the Italian teams before "Serie A"-matches.

Post Production Supervisor/Manager at TV3. The post production department consisted of 6 editors and editbox operators, 2 Hall operators and 3 sound engineers, 3-4 camera TV-studio for live transmissions to Scandinavia. By April 1999 TV3 had moved their production department to Scandinavia including most of it’s staff.

Filming and editing sports features for NRK (The Norwegian state broadcaster) in England.
Studio camera directing Champions League live for TV3 Norway at Kingston Inmedia (formerly Kingston TLI), during 2000 and 2001 in their new virtual studio in Chalfont St Peter.
Filming and editing more sports and news features in England for Swedish Broadcasters: SVT, TV4, TV3, and Canal+. Also work for Millbank Studios, NOW (TWI) and Finish YLE.
Program for BBC, Match of the day, in Sweden re Sven-Göran Eriksson.
Filming and editing for Swedish TV during all the matches England played at home since Sven Göran Eriksson became the England Manager. Many interviews with the England Manager.
